Townsand Price‑Spratlen Sociology

Townsand Price-Spratlen (Ph.D. University of Washington, 1993) is Associate Professor of Sociology. His research examines historical community capacity and the sociology of religion. His historical work evaluates how African American organizational development influenced migration and social justice outcomes. His religion research analyzes contemporary African American faith practices and their influence on identity tensions and other well-being outcomes. He is a member of the Columbus Congregations for Healthy Youth research team.
