Heather Washington Sociology

Heather M. Washington (M.A. The Ohio State University, 2008; B.A. West Virginia University, 2006) is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Sociology at The Ohio State University. She currently works at the CJRC as a graduate research associate for the Spatial Crime Research working group. Her current research examines the effects of incarceration on family dynamics and child wellbeing. Her interests also include the effects of men’s employment in the underground economy on relationship formation, stability, and quality and neighborhood effects on adult and child outcomes.
