Amy Bonomi (Ph.D. and M.P.H. University of Washington, 2004) is Professor and Chair of Human Development and Family Science at Michigan State University. Her current research focuses on the long-term health impacts of domestic violence, teen dating violence, and child abuse; processes associated with victim recantation in court-involved domestic violence cases; legal and health interventions to reduce the occurrence of domestic violence; and portrayals of sexual violence in modern popular culture. Prior to being at Michigan State, Amy was an Associate Professor of Human Development and Family Science at the Ohio State University, as well as an associate faculty member in the Sexuality Studies Program and the Women's Studies Department.
