Ashley Bailes is currently a first-year law student and Michael E. Moritz Scholar at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a minor in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Ohio State. She served as a CJRC Undergraduate Intern at the Ohio Public Defender's Wrongful Conviction Project, and she continues her work with them into law school. Her interests include the causes, implications, and preventative measures of wrongful convictions, and the intersections of race, class, and crime.
