Jason Reese is Vice Provost for Outreach and Engagement and Associate Professor of Architecture. His research focuses on spatial patterns of violence and the impact of safety related psychological trauma on youth. More recently, his work has focused on understanding how moving into safer neighborhood environments influences family wellbeing, health and child development. He also teaches a course on the intersection of the built environment and perceptions of safety.
