Raymond Montemayor (Ph.D. Michigan State University, 1974) is an Associate Professor of Psychology. His major research interests are in parent-adolescent relations.

Dr. Montemayor’s current work focuses on parent-adolescent conflict, the transformation of family relations between childhood and adolescence, relations between adolescents and their mothers and fathers, and gender-role development during adolescence. He has also served as part of the anti-rioting task force at Ohio State and run support groups for families with children whose behavior is labeled as "difficult to control."
