Wendy G. Smooth (Ph.D. University of Maryland-College Park, 2001) is Senior Vice Provost for Inclusive Excellence, Professor of Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies, and a faculty affiliate of the Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity. Her research and teaching focuses on women’s experiences in political institutions and the impact of public policies on women’s lives.
