Michael Vuolo is Professor of Sociology at The Ohio State University. His research interests include: (1) criminal justice reentry, especially the effect of criminal records on employment opportunities; (2) the efficacy of drug policy on substance use, dependence, and mortality and other aspects of health; and (3) statistics and methodology, including audit experimental methods. His work in these areas has been funded by NIH, NSF, and Fulbright. He is also Editor of Sociological Methodology, the methods journal of the American Sociological Association.
