Bruce A. Weinberg (Ph.D. University of Chicago, 1996) is a Professor of Economics. His research has three foci: the behavior and outcomes of youth and young adults, with emphases on family background and social networks; the effect of technological change and industrial shifts on wage structure; and the economics of creativity and innovation. He has also studied the relationship of low wages and unemployment with crime. Dr. Weinberg is a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research.
