Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Graduate Student Support

The Ohio State University's (OSU) Criminal Justice Research Center (CJRC) was established in 1989 as the focal point for interdisciplinary research on issues of crime/delinquency and juvenile and criminal justice.  In addition, the Center fosters intellectual exchange among faculty, graduate students, policymakers and practitioners, and provides research‑based outreach to criminal justice policymakers. CJRC faculty and graduate/professional student affiliates from a variety of disciplines conduct research and interface with policymakers in an effort to accomplish these goals.  The CJRC is commited to supporting graduate student research and development via travel grants and other sources of financial support, connecting graduate students with researchers and scholars in their area of interest and enabling graduate students to connect with professional practitioners in their field of study.
