Abstract
Narcissism as a personality trait has been shown to be related to maladaptive social outcomes including aggression and violence. In order to explore these relationships within a longitudinal dataset, we first developed and validated a new measure of narcissism within the National Longitudinal Survey of Adolescent Health (Add Health). Ongoing analyses will examine the developmental precursors as well as the health and social consequences of narcissism.
